The Sunnah provides guidance. We have been blessed with a respect for water and mindfulness of scarcity. The design of wudu itself is a means of reducing water usage by providing a method of cleanliness that does not require a full bath. Even more, the Prophet ﷺ performed wudu (ablution) with just a single cup of water and emphasized the importance of preserving water even when preparing for worship.

Now’s the time to do more.

May we all be inspired to tread lightly on this Earth, valuing each drop as the precious life-giving resource it is.
