DAILYREFLECTION

The merciful are shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Show mercy to those on the earth and the One above the heavens will show mercy to you.

I know today the Eid fits are on point, the group chats are poppin’, and we are absolutely ready to eat. But beneath the joy of today sits a question: what did Ramadan change in me?

Because Ramadan was never meant to be a spiritual cameo. It was meant to leave a mark.

So many of us showed up this month in ways we do not always manage the rest of the year. Our spiritual practices became stronger through prayer, Qur’an, dhikr, and the sins we worked hard to leave behind. But do not relegate that worship to solitude.

Carry it with you in your character, your attitude, your joy, your softness, and your generosity. Let it spill into the way you greet people, the way you forgive, and the way you make space for others.

And honestly, there is no better day to practice that than Eid.

We will see so many people today. Some familiar. Some complicated. Some we may have already placed in boxes in our minds. But just like you discovered a newer version of yourself this Ramadan, give others the chance to become new too. Let go of old judgments. Drop the preconceptions. Choose positivity. Let your light reach people.

The real gift of Ramadan is that it made something new in us. Ramadan is not only about what you stopped. It is about who you started becoming.

Our scholars spoke about this with so much hope: when a person fasts Ramadan with sincere intention not to return to old ways, with a real resolve that something has to change, that intention is beloved to Allah and a sign of acceptance.

Think of Eid today like a mirror. We put on our best clothes, we freshen up, we beautify ourselves. But that too reflects an inner state.

No, life after Ramadan will not look exactly like Ramadan. But growth does not require perfection. It requires continuation. It requires carrying something forward, even if it seems small.

So smile big today. Celebrate fully. Thank Allah deeply. And carry something forward.

Let this Eid be more than an ending. Let it be a rebirth.

Thank you for showing up this Ramadan.

Your support created real impact for real people, and we’re truly grateful to have you as part of this.

We’ll be sharing updates soon, inshaAllah.

May Allah accept from you and place barakah in all that you gave.

Reflect on this:

What is one thing I want Eid to mark the beginning of, not the end of?

Share your reflections in the poll at the end of the email.
