DAILYREFLECTION
If you were to rely upon Allah with true reliance, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds: they go out hungry in the morning and return full in the evening.
Each autumn, Arctic terns embark on the longest migration in the animal kingdom, traveling 44,000 miles annually between Arctic breeding grounds and Antarctic feeding waters. These small seabirds navigate across vast oceans, through fierce storms, and over territories they've never seen before, using celestial navigation and an inherited magnetic compass that guides them across seemingly impossible distances.
What makes this journey extraordinary is the tern's complete trust in guidance systems it cannot see or fully understand. When thick clouds block the sun and stars for days, the birds continue flying in exactly the right direction. When powerful storms blow them hundreds of miles off course, they calmly adjust their bearing and resume their path. They carry no detailed maps, GPS devices, or emergency supplies beyond their own wings and instincts.
The terns' confidence comes through trusting the internal navigation system Allah has embedded within them. They face uncertainty with remarkable composure because they know their guidance is reliable, even when external conditions seem chaotic. Ocean storms that terrify human sailors barely disturb their steady progress toward destinations they've never seen but somehow know how to find.
The Quran teaches that when we develop true tawakkul, trust in Allah, He becomes sufficient for all our needs. Like Arctic terns that navigate vast uncertainties with calm confidence, we can face life's storms and unknown territories with peace when we trust in divine guidance.

Alaa al-Hosari sits on the rubble of his house that collapsed, killing, according to Al-Shafa Hospital officials, at least one person and leaving several others injured in Gaza City.
UN, aid agencies warn Gaza relief could collapse if dozens of NGOs are de registered and supplies remain stuck outside, yet partners are still keeping food, sanitation, and child nutrition programs running where access is possible.
Medical evacuations are dangerously delayed, with MSF reporting more than 18,500 people waiting to leave Gaza for urgent care, but frontline clinicians continue stabilizing patients and advocating for faster exits to save lives.
Torrential rains have turned damaged buildings and fragile tents into life threatening shelter as winter deepens, while communities and responders keep distributing what they can, from basic bedding to emergency support, to help families make it through the cold nights.
QURANCORNER
مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
From the evil of the retreating whisperer..
Min sharri-l-waswāsi-l-khannās
"Shar" (Evil): Harmful, deceptive intent.
"Waswās" (Whisperer): Refers to the whisperings of Shayṭān (Satan).
"Khannās" (Retreating): He withdraws when Allah is remembered.
The primary enemy is internal whispering, not always external danger.
Shayṭān works in subtle ways, suggesting doubts, temptations, and distractions.
The mention of "Khannās" teaches us that remembrance of Allah is our spiritual shield.
