DAILYREFLECTION

Allah is kind and loves kindness in all matters.

In the forests of Central America, vampire bats do something quietly remarkable.

When a bat returns to the roost after a successful feed, it will sometimes regurgitate part of its meal to share with a bat that went hungry that night — even one it isn't closely related to.

Here's why that matters: these bats can die after just 70 hours without food.

What they're sharing isn't just a meal. It's survival.

We carry our own kinds of hunger.

Sometimes it's literal.

Sometimes it's emotional.

Sometimes it's a tired heart that just needs one person to treat it gently.

The Prophet ﷺ taught that Allah loves kindness, not just in big gestures, but in all matters.

That means in our tone.

In how we correct our children.

In how we argue with our spouse.

In how we disagree with people we love.

Kindness is worship.

Like that small act in the roost — a check-in, a meal shared, forgiveness offered quickly, a gentle word when emotions are high — we can keep someone going with very little.

When we choose kindness for Allah's sake, He places barakah in what we give and in who we become.

Reflect on this:

Who in your life is quietly running on empty right now — and what's the smallest act of kindness you could offer them today?

🤍 A note to this community:

Together, we've raised over $9,000 for qurbani for underserved communities and Eid celebrations for orphans — Alhamdulillah and Allah reward you for all we’ve accomplished together.

If you want a chance to leave some kindness, there are still 14 orphans who can be sponsored for Eid gifts, and today is the last day.

If it's on your heart, [click here to support them].
