We have complicated the simple.

We debate the right org. The right price. The right country.

We scroll, compare, postpone.

And sometimes, in the middle of all that, we forget what we are actually doing.

The ayah cuts through all of it.

Allah does not need the animal. He does not need the blood.

What reaches Him, the ONLY thing that reaches Him, is what is behind your hand when you give.

Ibrahim (AS) never actually slaughtered his son.

He was ready to.

The intention was complete.

The surrender was total.

And Allah said: you have already fulfilled the vision.

The sacrifice was done before the knife moved. Because the inner act was the real act.

Your Qurbani this Dhul Hijjah does not need to be perfect. It needs to be sincere. Whatever you give, from wherever you give it — what travels to Allah is the taqwa behind it.
